My early idea of a trainer was, “What can they make me look like?” But Damian completely shifted that mindset. He helped me focus on something deeper—“How can this improve me from the inside out? How can I move, feel, and live better?—not just in the gym.
What started as a strength routine quickly became, “Now see what you’re capable of.” And it didn’t end there. I gained body awareness, and movement became something freeing—a way to heal, be creative, and even find peace. More recently, Damian has helped me rehab from a soul-crushing ACL tear in my 30s.
It doesn’t have to be a lifetime commitment. But you are bound to gain exceptional value that is rare in the commoditized fitness industry.
Damian inspired me to become a coach myself. I strive to bring the same level of care, attention, and expertise that he has always shown.”

Working with Spiral Alchemy Arts has been a deeply transformative experience in both my movement practice and inner work. My journey into the internal martial arts emerged naturally from years of yoga practice and a spiritual path rooted in Vedic philosophy. As I searched for other ancient traditions, I found myself drawn toward traditional Chinese medicine through qigong and tai chi.
I am a selective student by nature and wanted to learn from someone who embodied the path as both teacher and lifelong student — someone passionate, expressive, and deeply devoted to the work itself. That search eventually led me to Damian.
After the very first class, I knew this was a practice I wanted to continue cultivating. Shortly after beginning this journey, I was scheduled for a total hip replacement. Through consistent practice and a growing understanding of the body through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I ultimately chose to step away from surgery and explore another path toward healing. I began recognizing how deeply physical pain can intertwine with fear, survival patterns, guilt, shame, and long-held emotional tension.
A year later, after integrating qigong, bagua, baji, tai chi, and even touches of drunken boxing into my daily life, I move with significantly more freedom, fluidity, and ease. These traditions continually challenge me to release deeply rooted patterns, rebuild from a more grounded place, and embrace the ongoing cycle of shedding and growth.
What I value most in Damian’s teaching is that the practice is never reduced to performance or aesthetics. It is lived, embodied, and approached with sincerity. The work invites not only physical transformation, but a deeper relationship with presence, awareness, and the self.
